According to the online magazine from Reunion Clicanoo (21 September 2004), a local branch of the Institut de la Maison Royale de France was founded in Reunion island by Fabrice Vauquelin. The Institute represents the Orleanist pretender to the throne of France, Henri d'Orléans, Count of Paris and Duke of France.

The last paragraph of the article says:

[...] le drapeau tricolore conserverait ses couleurs, avec tout de même trois fleurs de lys en son blanc intérieur, symbole réuni de la Trinité, la Chrétienté et de la Couronne.

i.e.,

[...] the Tricolore flag would keep its colours, but with three fleurs de lys added on its central white [stripe], as the united symbol of Trinity, Christendom and the Crown [of France].

It is not clear from the original article wether this flag is proposed by Fabrice Vauquelin or by the Institut de la Maison Royale de France. Therefore, it should not be considered as an official monarchist proposal until more precise information is available.

There is no drawing in the article and nothing is said on the colour and arrangement of the fleurs de lys. It seems logical to assume that the fleurs de lys would be yellow and placed 2+1, recalling the arms called France modern.
